HoarfrostHubb
Good rain event with winds and flakes in early November Nothing shocking. I'll take it
weathafella
If rain and 44 is your thing ok sure. The reason all the excitement was generated by this was the chance at the regions first snowfall..and some region wide damaging winds. Get your leaves done today folks Tell everyone I'm working with today I'm raking?
Baroclinic Zone
Tell everyone I'm working with today I'm raking? Some of us have to work around here. Nice that some people don't. Why bother doing leaves when the majority are still on the trees?
weathafella
There was never really a shot dude, it's always looked like rain. I'll take a good storm. One of the things you look for in autumn. We had a nice one a week ago and now another. Things definitely looking up winter wise.

CT Rain
Just got added on wxbell. I think it becomes operational in mid-Decemeber? I'm a little worried with its increased resolution it will throw out some really weenie solutions this winter.

CoastalWx
The GFS still blows that low up enough to make it interesting. I'm not 100% writing it off given how unstable model solutions have been..but seems like an outlier now. I mean look at 500mb. The GFS just jumps low centers at 500mb to off of ACK. That looks mighty suspicious.

Ginx snewx
06 GFS is a Phil nightmare, sustained 40-45 knot with periods of 50's, 36 hrs of Gales. 2 separate strong back to back holes in the atmosphere just east of the elbow. Very very impressive as modeled
Ginx snewx
Yup. I have 5 huge oaks on the property near the rakeable yard, probably 65 % bare with just shredded leaves left all other trees are sticks. Shredded leaves will get more shredded it appears.
