Damage In Tolland

Angry? Just disappointed in what was probably my last chance of a white birthday.

You can't be disappointed dude. I mean I understand you had your hopes up, but early November and model disagreement 5 days out equals a recipe for disappointment. Just glad I don't have to deal with a mess on shift with this one.

The period NOV 1-6 is generally always mild to warm and dry. There's an Occasional cool period but there's no snow events to speak of in the last 50 years. I knew this one wasn't going to happen, but it was fun to dream I guess lol

Will has mentioned that it's almost 50/50 for ORH to see flakes in October. The 1st week of November thing is just a statistical anomaly. If anything, regression is probably in your favor.

That doesn't pertain to my hair.

There's got to be some weather or atmospherically related reason why the first week of NOV is very benign over history with little snow or cold

It has snowed 8 times on record at ORH on 11/2.

1895, 1897, 1911, 1951, 1959, 1963, 1965, and 1988. This number is not all that different from surrounding dates...ranging from late October (yes, including Oct 29th too, the date of the bomb). Getting a storm over an inch or so is hard until you hit about 11/10. So its just luck of the draw on those flukes.
