Brewers
Record of 21°. Yeah I could see that falling without a problem! Still in the teens around the area at Noon - crazy. Oops forgot to even mention the temp! Regardless always cool to see records in the 1800's go down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
cyclone77
Surprised to see us losing some snow today despite temps in the mid teens. Guess it goes to show how dry the snow was. Just a light dusting leftover now.

cyclone77
Plus partly sunny and a little higher sun angle for mid November Yep. Amazing to think this time last week it was in the mid 60s. Since then we've transformed into an arctic type environment with even the ground temps now below freezing. VERY glad I didn't blow off the yard work last Monday now lol. hawkeye_wx
It's darn cold today, even colder than the coldest local met's forecast. The temp only rose to 13 and has remained there all afternoon. It was breezy this morning, but the wind is now gusting over 35 mph. This is as cold as it can be in mid November. harrisale
Some low-quality cell phone pics from the walk home today. Colder air moved in quickly after the snow stopped, flash freeze definitely a concern tonight, plenty of slush out there already hardening. Forecast low is 17F tonight, with a high of 21F tomorrow. Brewers
For MKE: Today marks the first Nov day since 1977 to see a high in the teens and the earliest occurrence since Nov 1959 (17th: 12 degrees) If the high tomorrow fails to reach 20 it will be the earliest ever occurrence of back to back sub 20 degree highs. michsnowfreak
Winter's hit campus... Yup the snow compacted a bit into the still warm ground but then froze into white crunch. The wind is just brutal out there now too. This morning was beautiful though.

Those are the bradford pears. Im sure (if you have any) they still have leaves. They are notoriously late, usually like 3-4 weeks after 90% the rest of the trees are bare. MichiganLion
Some Cincinnati (CVG) Stats, at the very southern end of this regional forum's geography: Forecast high for Tuesday (18-November) is currently 19. The lowest ever maximum temperature for 18-November is 26 degrees. That reading is, in fact, the earliest Cincinnati has EVER had a day that only reached 26 degrees. The first day with a record low maximum temperature in the teens is NEXT Monday, the 24th of November (14 degrees in 1929). Truly remarkable cold snap. Chicago WX
Cool Cincinnati stats, no pun intended. Just had a burst of snow here that quickly dusted everything up. Combined with a temp of 15˚ and gusty winds, makes for a hell of a January evening.
