Just one more nudge north and another little nudge west and it will be perfect! It does appear somebody in the area is likely going to get hammered with something though.

I agree. Looks like the NWS offices are erring on the side of caution and I can't say I blame them based on how often we have been fooled this year. If the 00z models continue their trend, numbers may have to be adjusted up. We shall wait and see.

The 00z GFS snow map is heavily contaminated by sleet (especially down in AR), but it did increase snow amounts back to central and southern KS and northern OK and parts of central OK.

I'm not sure about the 00z GFS to be honest, it seemed like the NAM stuck to it's previous forecasts.

GEM is next at 11ish and then the Euro at 12ish.

That was the last thing I expected. I never thought fz rain was an issue here. I'm in Benton County (far NW) so maybe I'm still in more sleet/snow, but this northern trend looked good earlier but is starting to suck now.

I seemed to notice 412 seems to be the cutoff here for heavier stuff, or where the mix line switches or vice versa. Ive seen you guys have way more on the ground than down here and its what 15 miles or so north of me lol?

Do you sometimes miss Missouri like I do lol? I'm not much for this city life to be honest, miss the peacefulness of the country and all the land our last rental had!!!

Yah for sure man this is the part I knew I would sacrifice by moving here. It just seems MO comes out much better with snow than AR on average. It seems to be at least 3-4 degrees colder on avg in Monett vs here in Benton Co, AR.
