Ginx snewx
20141020_18z_084.png I think it's going to rain. Three months from now the freak flags would be flyin what do the colors represent
CoastalWx
then you're not someone who enjoys autumn cuz that sure as hell ain't autumn I never said I don't enjoy the cold shots, but I don't see anything wrong with 60s. I'm not alone.
ROOSTA
what do the colors represent I contoured the 1" and 3" QPF. Above 1" every .25" is shaded. For the life of me still can't get the scripts to work thus giving a legend. It's a work in progress. Eventually I'll get the graphics to every .01 of an inch and affix a legend. WXBELL overrated! CoastalWx
This isn't a typical stratiform nor'eastern IMO. This is working with quite a bit of instability with it. It wouldn't surprise me if parts of SNE closer to the dryslot have some thunder from time to time as bands pivot in later Wed into Thurs.

OceanStWx
nice, you have a link for this ? http://www.eas.slu.edu/CIPS/ANALOG/analog.php I checked out for the weekend, sorry. More and more significant rainfall events are showing up on the analog page now too. A few SREF members going with amounts in Maine approaching 7-8". OceanStWx
It's also shameful how different the "hi-res" Euro we see in AWIPS is from the full 13 km version. In AWIPS I can find a max around 5.25" near Brunswick. The 13 km version is pushing 7" near SFM. It's different on both the max and location. OceanStWx
Roughly half of the ECMWF ensemble members have 5+ for PWM.
TalcottWx
Weatherbell really been doing a terrible job lately. Entire half of 18z 4km and 12km NAM runs just missing, Euro getting held up almost an hour late earlier today, entire product types missing from runs.. I don't pay extra money to be missing sh*t. Other than that, from what I can see interior ne ma and extreme e coastal mass look like the place to be in SNE.

OceanStWx
Possible analog Pretty extreme example, but it is one of the analogs. That map doesn't even do it justice. PWM smashed records, well over 10".
