Car facing northeast into the wind. Amazing spot. ILS lit up beautifully rain off and on. Lightning increasing by the second. Lets,see what one,of these bands brings. ORH_wxman Posted October 23, 2014 Share Posted October 23, 2014 The RAP actually ramps up the LLJ slightly over the next 4-6 hours around BOS and coastl MA...however, the temperatures in the core at 900-950mb are rising during this time, so the lapse rate between the sfc and there will be weakening, so it will be harder to transfer to the sfc.
