Birds~69
Wow pretty low numbers. Hope your wrong. 24" for Philly is above average so really not that bad...can't get 40-50+" every year.

Exactly, 24" is about 15% above climo. I'm thinking cold will be more of the story this winter, but we'll see.

CAPE
AVP- 38 ABE- 30 PHL- 26 ACY- 26 Normal to below normal temps at times with above avg precip along the coast...coastal plain could end up with more snow relative to avg. Think there will be a few storms with an offshore track where Philly and eastern areas get the brunt.

NEchestercountydude
Hmmmm good question. I guess since I called it "winter" of 2014-2015 we'll do DJFM

I'm kind of on the fence with this. Not sure if I want more snow/less cold or less snow/more cold. Since I drive an 18 wheeler for a living, snow kind of sucks for me, but last year I spent nearly twice what I normally do for heating oil. I'm not sure I want a repeat of THAT. You get a pass for not wanting a snowy winter....that would truly suck. I can't even imagine. As far as heating oil, since the A/C had a huge break this summer ($) I don't mind spending extra on heat for a quality winter. It'll even out for the most part. *Think I had a low in the 34-35 range this morning according to Wunderground.

Voyager
You get a pass for not wanting a snowy winter....that would truly suck. I can't even imagine. It does, especially when you need to hit the brakes. The last thing you want is to do is be able to read the company name on the trailer as you look out the driver/passenger side window. That's never a good thing...
