Chinook
Looks like a long-track tornado is very possible with that cell heading toward Waverly and McEwen, TN. Wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being a sig tor as well. Here is HPX radar for 2158z for this cell. The HPX radar shows this circulation very well. kperk014
Shot of possible tornado now headed for Nashville as it approached Cloverdale, Al, just north of Florence. The definition was much clearer than the picture indicates. The contrast of the front edge with the small spot of sunshine between the storm and the treeline isn't as good here as on my camera unfortunately. Kory
That long track supercell out of Tennessee is surprising. The cells further south had much better thermodynamics.
Met1985
That line coming through TN is still very impressive for this time of the night. Still some Tornado warnings out along with severe thunderstorm warnings. If this holds through the mountains tomorrow this is going to be one windy event with torrential rainfall. kperk014
Weather Channel just showed the storm I got a shot of in Alabama is about to hit Nashville with tops over 45,000 feet.
Kory
I still think this will underperform due to lack of instability. I know there are other dynamics at work that could prove me wrong but I do not believe widespread severe weather will take place, but local definitely will. I'm referring to the main line in E. Ark as it moves into W. Tn & W. Ky. I'll return & tell you "I told you so" later. I wonder where he's been?
Witness Protection Program
Am hoping this northbound line passing through here (Nashville) now will sap enough energy to prevent any more tornadoes here.
Witness Protection Program
WSMV TV with their typical airhead coverage, radar reduced to only 30% of the screen so they can show video of just rain falling on the other half of the screen. Witness Protection Program
Clarksville tornado confirmed still on the ground at St. Bartholomew on the TN/KY border, heading to between Guthrie and Trenton, KY. Looks like it is already to Elkton, KY.

SluggerWx
Cell with pretty decent winds SSE of BMX looks like it's getting it's act together - could pose a threat to Birmingham metro. Pretty much entire state of Alabama is a scary place to be right now - especially now that it's dark.
Kory
The main squall line is rotating in Marion Co. Alabama. Could have an embedded tornado. Otherwise, very strong winds accompanying the line itself as it moves east.

1234snow
It's SW Alabama's turn for the discrete cells now. No kidding! Look at all these cells: Also a storm in Florida has been rotating for a while after it came onshore.
dwagner88
He's been looking at all the storm reports roll in. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1413245566.503828.jpg I will give him one thing, there is a noticeable lack of reports in the moderate risk area. I was thinking earlier today that the risk area would be closer to the MS/AL line, turns out it was even further east than that.
Hvward
Heaviest rain I have ever driven through in Starksville. Played the southern sector and it didnt pan out. All power was out in Starksville. Once the line gpt me the fun was over. Talk about stressful!
