Looks like a long-track tornado is very possible with that cell heading toward Waverly and McEwen, TN. Wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being a sig tor as well.

Here is HPX radar for 2158z for this cell. The HPX radar shows this circulation very well.

Shot of possible tornado now headed for Nashville as it approached Cloverdale, Al, just north of Florence. The definition was much clearer than the picture indicates. The contrast of the front edge with the small spot of sunshine between the storm and the treeline isn't as good here as on my camera unfortunately.

I still think this will underperform due to lack of instability.  I know there are other dynamics at work that could prove me wrong but I do not believe widespread severe weather will take place, but local definitely will. 

 

 

I'm referring to the main line in E. Ark as it moves into W. Tn & W. Ky.  I'll return & tell you "I told you so" later. :whistle:

I wonder where he's been?   ;)
