BMX just issued one of the biggest SVR boxes I've ever seen for that cluster of storms approaching Birmingham. I thought the local offices were being discouraged from blanket warnings like that.

 

There have been lots of wind damage reports and power outages from those storms, so that may be why.

   * EFFECTIVE THIS MONDAY AFTERNOON FROM 340 PM UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT.

   * PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE...
     A FEW TORNADOES LIKELY
     SCATTERED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH POSSIBLE
     ISOLATED LARGE HAIL EVENTS TO 1 INCH IN DIAMETER POSSIBLE

Since nobody in the SE thread seems to care about anything other then tomorrow, if it's ok with you guys, I'm gonna post everything from tonight's event in here.

I've been tilting at that windmill for days.  

 

A little out of the area, but tornado warning for Washington Parish, Louisiana.  Decent rotation with that...

Please do so.  I'm here listening to what you guys are saying, from Atlanta.  Also the folks who do care about today's weather seem to be coming on over here to this sub-forum.
