Kory
New tornado watch for SW and South Central Louisiana. Dynamics look really conducive there.
Kory
Tornado watch likely coming for most of Mississippi and parts of Western Tennessee. Confluence band ahead of the main line has promoted storms that have organized into supercells.
stadiumwave
I still think this will underperform due to lack of instability. I know there are other dynamics at work that could prove me wrong but I do not believe widespread severe weather will take place, but local definitely will. stadiumwave
I'm referring to the main line in E. Ark as it moves into W. Tn & W. Ky. I'll return & tell you "I told you so" later.
dwagner88
Interesting reflectivity showing up on KMRX radar right now along the highest ridgetops near the state line in Sevier and Blount counties. I don't have a good explanation for it, but it almost looks like upslope showers. The winds are not coming from the correct direction for that to be occurring though. I wonder if it's just noise? stadiumwave
Cloud cover has really thinned east of the Miss. River, especially over N. Mississippi, W. Tenn, W. Ky & S. Ilinois. http://weather.rap.ucar.edu/satellite/displaySat.php?region=EVV&itype=vis&size=small&endDate=20141013&endTime=-1&duration=5I'm currently seeing several peeks of sunshine. If that continues it could be add quite of bit of fuel to the fire East of River. It will not take much.

SluggerWx
Well, you would like to think the Philadelphia, MS cell would have a tornado warning on it by now - but that doesn't appear to be the case...
