Interesting reflectivity showing up on KMRX radar right now along the highest ridgetops near the state line in Sevier and Blount counties. I don't have a good explanation for it, but it almost looks like upslope showers. The winds are not coming from the correct direction for that to be occurring though. I wonder if it's just noise?

Cloud cover has really thinned east of the Miss. River, especially over N. Mississippi, W. Tenn, W. Ky & S. Ilinois.

I'm currently seeing several peeks of sunshine.  If that continues it could be add quite of bit of fuel to the fire East of River.  It will not take much.
