J.Mike
sure would be nice for another one of these 5H Lows doing the jig directly over us in the middle of winterYes. Even Topper tonight mentioned the winter connection, although he said the most snow would fall north. He is such a snow weenie.

EastCoast NPZ
Impressive to watch that low spin and the heavy rains training N to S. As is often the case, the precip staying east of us. .11" yesterday and another .05" early AM.

CAPE
0.7" here, mostly falling between late last evening into early AM. Been in the dry slot last several hours. Pretty impressive amounts over the bay and back to Baltimore and just SW of there.

WxUSAF
About 1.5" so far based on radar estimates and surrounding stations. Takeaways from this storm are obviously to ride the biggest NAM run and that MBY is going to jackpot in every Miller B this winter.

NinjaWarrior2
This would have been the biggest surprise snowstorm ever (save 1/25/00).Last night would have been 43 and Rain while we would be complaining about the Coastal about to rob our moisture before temps drop enough. Then at 6:00am we wake up to 2 inches of Wet Snow at 34 degrees (DCA 41). Look at the radar to see the "snow" is moving away and fizzling. We all go back to bed since OEM and School's closed the night before. We wake up at 9:00am to a raging blizzard and all the weenies are happy. North-Central MD wins again, DCA records a trace while Ian reports 3.6".........Anyways back to this. Storm total is about 1.1" so far. Cold and Miserable out
