The Dude
Impressive. 1 shy of severe criteria! The rotation was fairly weak and broad. I'm surprised they issued a tornado warning (well, not that surprised given their past practices).
Kmlwx
The rotation was fairly weak and broad. I'm surprised they issued a tornado warning (well, not that surprised given their past practices). Could also be due to the high population density. covering bases probably.

mappy
Could also be due to the high population density. covering bases probably. pretty sure 90% of the time, LWX only issues TOR warnings to CYA

BlizzardNole
I am on 1st Street a few blocks from Union Station -- it was a good downpour with some decent wind gusts, but nothing too exciting. Bad timing for people that were walking to lunch or for takeout though -- one coworker made it in just a minute before. He'd have been soaked! Eskimo Joe
Probably a little meso low or something. All the winds in PG / DC are SE and Moco / Fairfax winds W...no drop in dew points so I don't think it's the cold front.
