EastCoast NPZ
If the GFS is right, we are going to go pretty much unscathed with this rain. Very large area over the metro areas with < .50" Radar looking less and less impressive as the system moves east.
Disc
0.25" of rain so far today.
snowfan
Radar looking less and less impressive as the system moves east. The split in precip depicted by the models is now clear on radar. The larger plume of precip dumps the west side and the stuff along the coast gets the eastern shore and beaches. We get the rest.
WinterWxLuvr
Radar looking less and less impressive as the system moves east. You're gonna love the latest NAM. I think the big thing about this system is how slowly it moving. Radar might not look impressive as far as size, but you're likely to get a training type of situation s-n

MN Transplant
Shame we will lose it later today - DCA is 8 degrees over the record max low temp. 75 for a low. Also would be the October record.

mattie g
Several hours of this has potential to pile up some impressive numbers. Nope. Radar looks unimpressive, the front is speeding up, and the GFS is showing a bust.
MN Transplant
Pretty cool to watch the attenuation when the rain finally got to the radar. At least on college of dupage's site, you can see an immediate dB or two drop in the overall reflectivity field on the 12:35z scan.
PrinceFrederickWx
Last night was awful- hotter than any night this past summer I think. The humidity was out of control. Low of 74 IMBY and DP was around 70. BWI should get a record high minimum as long as it doesn't get screwed up later this evening.
