vespasian70
Switched over to all rain when the heavy returns moved off. Only a slushy dusting was the result.

jbcmh81
The question now becomes... Does radar fill in along I-70 between Columbus and St. Louis or not? If not, this will be a complete whiff. If it does, it could turn into something salvageable. Models say it'll be a whiff.

A nudge 50 miles to north will put us back in the game for something respectable.

dayton1996
CoachLB, Where's the southern edge of Montgomery Co. (south suburbs of Dayton)? 4-6 inches? Thoughts? Sounds like fun - one last gasp from our back-loaded winter.
dilly84
Cold air does not seem to be pushing that quick..it is still 36 degrees here! Virga here. Radar shows snow over me but nada. Surprising. Figured the air would be well moistened.
CoachLB
Yes Montgomery is south of Miami county. Not my map. I would be surprised to if I get a dusting north of 36.
HighTechEE
Just started snowing on the south side on Dayton in Centerville at 3:30, its kind of light, but steady.
dayton1996
Thanks guys. EE, you (and another of our buddies, iluvsnow) live very close to me. I'm right on the mythical Centerville/Bellbrook line. I must admit that I cracked up this morning, looking at the advisories: A WSW 2 miles to my south (Warren Co.), and WWA less than a mile to my east (Greene Co.) and nothing - nada- for me in the right hand corner of Montgomery Co. That's a hard stop, then a hard right!
Cincy12
Cincy 2 miles from river snow steady. Not sticking yet to road ways
wxdudemike
Moderate to heavy snow in Madeira. 33.8 and dropping. Latest RAP and HRRR look good for the map I drew this morning. Although the southern OH folks may barely make it to my 8" forecast if the sleet hangs on too long.
JayPSU
I have to give kudos to the GFS. It never bought the crazy NAM solutions and was very steady and accurate.

OHweather
Based on upstream obs the snow should get to I-70 and a little north...but it won't be very heavy and only add up to an inch or two for places like Columbus and maybe 2" or so for Newark.
