Haha ya got Steve lmao

:pimp:

Honestly, as much as I've been dismissive of this winter, the truly sad thing is that, through yesterday, Columbus was only a few inches below normal.  After last night and today, it'll probably be near normal.  So far, we've been bucking climo a bit, but a lot will depend on the rest of the season.  Still a long way to 29".  Temps will probably end up around normal.

I have higher confidence than usual that the nao tanks in March and April and this will be a back loaded winter with potentially another typical Columbus-esque late season blockbuster.  Just has that feel.   Unfortunately I think spring is a long way off....unless you like 30s and 40s with quick melting snow shots.   Gonna be ugly.

That is probably my absolute least favorite weather and time of the year.  Unless you can give me a March 2012 again :D  But when you reach the point of not being able to get appreciable snows any more (usually) but it REFUSES to warm up past the 30s/40s and rain we've had all winter.....UGH!!  So terribly frustrating.

Looking at radar it should be pouring out. Sitting at 34 with big wet flakes.

I think until the cold air aloft gets fully scoured out, areas where really heavy precip come in could be wet snow temporarily.  As soon as the precip lightens, it would probably turn to rain and then eventually stay rain.

precip started back up and it's like 35 and snow. How ironic would it be if the vast majority of precip that fell with this storm end up being snow, yet nothing to show for it...lol

that's one outcome I never accounted for.

Yeah, very odd. If you weren't looking outside and were just listening, you'd think it was a light but steady rain falling outside. Instead, it's 35F, snowing, and drip drip dripping everywhere.

Interesting...did not think it would hang on as snow up there so long.  I guess the mid 30s are keeping the 1-2" snow accum. forecast in tact though lol
