wxdudemike
My final call for Dayton and Columbus: AM 1-2 inches of snow, washed away by rain, final total < 1" if some leftover snow showers hit you.

I concur, dont' think we'll hit 2 before the changeover though. It's not really coming in as a thump, which would also allow temps to warm faster. buckeye
This really sucks! ! Never a south trend. . Never. . Snow forecasted always changes to rain. ..never the other way around! !! So frustrating! ! hey is LC sticking to his track?

Steve
I have the low going close to the Ohio River, to Washington PA before a center jump into N VA. Then on to Atlantic City NJ, to the Benchmark . Larry C

wxdudemike
Have to wonder if we could see flash-freeze conditions tmrw night with the rain on the roads. Temperatures drop FAST behind that low and tumble pretty low.

buckeye
ok I'm done posting about this one...so here ya go...last attachment.. Have a good weekend note: I think that snowfall is generous on the southend. The euro tracks the low to near Bloomington IN to Pitt. Snow would pretty much have to be right at the north side of the low center. just in case someone wants to say, "that's not that bad"
snowlover2
Not punting just yet. Seen it too much this winter where models show a strong storm only for it to be weaker and more south in the end. Going to wait for the 0z runs before i punt. wxdudemike
Keep in mind with those wxbell maps, especially the Euro it seems, that large southern gradient is bull s*** because of how it gets wacky in calculating where snow "accumulates" (ie: when it's raining at 35 degrees!) dilly84
Well guys. Too much time and too much stress goes into these systems. In Ohio, as you all know, it's nearly impossible to get a truly good storm. And 75% of the time, we see promise only to see a storm miss us to the northwest or southeast. With that said, the storms take up too many hours tracking, too much stress only to be let down. So after 8 years, I'm punting.. for good.. It's been great talking to you all and knowing ya over these years. I'll stop in and say hello on occasion or lurk, but my storm days are over after this letdown. Steve, Jay, JB, Buckeye and the rest of the bunch. Take care all.

I was telling my wife (who btw gets very annoyed at me b/c of this craze) that I may look into getting hypnotized so as to no longer care about snow. If it works for smokers it's gotta work for this!!!!!

You don't realize it Dilly, but what just happened with this storm just fed the weenie inside you even more. That's the cruelty of what we do here. JasonOH
I've quit twice today on this storm, fake punted after the 12z, and am going to be back again for the 6z runs. Lol. It may partially be that I am 20mi north of i70 and am right on the freezing line.

snowlover2
15z SREF increased snow for me some. Usually a sign the NAM is headed south. Might be in the begining stages of the last minute south shift that has been the winter theme.
