OceanStWx
Kevin, snow and storm are 2 different words and sometimes they are mutually exclusive. I was way off, knew it started with an "s" though.
WinterWolf
The GFS absolutely crushes parts of VT NH Maine with snow as a very cold vorticity maximum travels over NE, even SNE gets some but of course another run just another solution. Congrats Dendrite is for our Admin Dendrite who lives in CNH and is a saying going back a decade whenever CNE gets crushed. So yea I'm saying there's a chance lol LOL, Thank You for the Clarification Neighbor!! Interesting. Read through the past few pages, and it looks like some type of system could impact some part of the region. Earlier today, the Appalachians looked to be targeted for some type of storm. Like you said, just another solution. Interesting days ahead I suppose. :-)
OceanStWx
Congrats Ocean State, Dryslit man nice fantasy run, very strong vote max 526 right over our fannies I'd prefer my 925s to not be above freezing. Bufkit does have some nominal accumulation on the backside (1-3") though.

Yeah as modeled its cold rain below 2,000 feet even through NNE until the backside.
OceanStWx
Yeah as modeled its cold rain below 2,000 feet even through NNE until the backside. Just a friendly reminder that it's time to dust off the old winter weather procedures at work. AWIPS-2 transition thrashed a lot of what I had built before. They fell apart after moving through the Valley a bit. Litchfield County got a pretty good storm. I didn't see any hail reports but I bet there was some in the middle of the night. Like the snow in the p/c and zfp mentioning snow on Friday night and on Saturday. I'll be in VA--lock it.
CoastalWx
Nothing really changed too much from yesterday. The euro ensemble mean has a bit more support for something closer, but it looks too far east. 06z GEFS have nothing. The general idea here being don't expect much at the moment. Yeah it basically misses the phase between the Northern Stream and Southern Stream energy until its too late. We get a passing quick little disturbance for some eye candy flakes perhaps but that is about it if you take that run verbatim.

CoastalWx
Novie is sounding like a fun month as always lol. What is it about that month that's so hard to get exciting storms? We've actually had some good storms in November that aren't frozen. I remember some nasty ones. Don't forget the big snow many had after Sandy.
