powderfreak
BTV is +7.7F and put up consecutive +21, +26, +21's. lol The October torch to end all torches...gotta go all the way back to the Global Warming days of 1898 (ha ha) to find a warmer October stretch. "The temperature here in Burlington overnight finally dropped below 60 degrees for the first time since late evening of October 13th (4 full days and then some). The average high temperature is about 57 degrees. So how unusual was this persistent stretch of warmth for October? It was the 2nd longest stretch on record! Here are the records for consecutive days remaining at or above 60 degrees in October: #1 5 days - October 1-5, 1898 #2 4 days - October 14-17, 2014 #3 3 days - October 11-13, 1901 #4 3 days - October 12-14, 1899 The last time we had just 2 days in a row was October 1-2, 2002. moneypitmike
Nothing dramatic up here. The wind shift, drier, cooler. It looks like you were about 8* warmer down there so perhaps it'll be more interesting with the cooler air arriving. Nice and sunny now. 56.0/
