weatherwiz
Had a couple quick hitting showers earlier. One happened to occur when I was walking to the bus stop which always happens. 99% of the day could be dry but the 1% time it rains is when I am walking somewhere. The first shower was much heavier but lasted no more than like 10 seconds. Second shower was lighter but lasted a few minutes.

TauntonBlizzard2013
Very decent chance at snows next week the more we look at the setup Still a little early around here unless we get the perfect setup. I guess you can't rule out a mangled flake or two if all falls into place. PF could see some though
CapturedNature
A lot of Deja Vu conversations this afternoon. First we're talking about what weather people prefer (it was discussed ad naseam over the summer) and now potential snow on the horizon of guidance. It's almost the same (and for good reason) every year. Maybe we'll roll like it's 2011...lol (not really!!).

moneypitmike
Forget next week, maybe some accums coming on Sunday with decent looking upslope period. image.jpg Heavy, heavy leaf accumulation happening here the last couple of days. Methinks that's the only accumulation that will take place in SNE until November. Very decent chance at snows next week the more we look at the setup See above. 69.2/
ORH_wxman
Outside of upslope in the mountains of NNE...I'm not sure how we would get snow next week. the OP Euro (which was by far the coldest) was still too warm for snow in the coastal storm. The setup does not look like snow unless we cool the OP run another 1-3C at 850 (depending on location)...and the ensembles much more than that. Oh, and do that while also maintaining good precip. CoastalWx
Yeah we toss the op, but I did find it interesting that it's hinting at keeping the extreme northeast rather cool.

It's possible for nne. But the fantasy coastal would prob have to pull down much colder stuff to get flakes flying for interior sne. But we is getting close, once we get past the scarey day...November is a new winter month.

Pittsburg, NH has the chance to go from upper 70s today (which has to be like +30 from normal highs, that's more impressive than BTV) to like D-2" of snow on Sunday with the upslope flow. He is good at generating discussion that's for sure...he knows what he's doing but he does it well. I do agree that some statements are ridiculous but it gets us all talking, so in that respect it's a good thing. We can have a slow day with no posts and one DIT one-liner post can garner two pages of responses. It's a gift.
