Thanks Don. The soreness and pain was a lot more bearable yesterday evening. Now it's definitely getting worse as the plethora of medicine they gave me wears off. They are giving me shots every three hours which helps GREATLY. However, I can't event come close to sleep. They are putting me on Valium next time the nurse comes in which will hopefully help.

Valium will help...good luck in recovery sir.

76F for a high yesterday.  As McD's says, I'm loving it!

Like so many here, I'm a winter lover (max snow--enough cold to keep it on the ground and fresh), but I like it when I see someone who actually enjoys the swampy warmth of summer. My mother loved it, too. I could never get it, but 95% of the folks out there can't get how I get to the end of August in the same state most of them are in at the end of February.

Enjoy the warmth and humidity and the rest of us can stop moaning. It'll be gone in a couple of days and it has zero to do with the coming winter. It actually looks kind of neat out there with the soft haze and the bright colors.

I love swampy summer weather; my favorite. I dont get the love of snow and cold. Never have, never will. This week is like a gift because I dread whats coming. I'm ok until about groundhog day, then i'm done. If I could go to sleep from groundhog day until about Patriots day, I'd be happy. 15 years till retirement, then no more snow and cold for me!

You probably should leave the board.

I agree. Someone has to do a better job of checking references.

Certainly in the minority here

Lots of folks love swampy hot humid wx in the summer. In fact, most do.. But almost no one wants it in fall and winter as its out of season

If it's only a couple days of this than its okay. If it's like October 2007 then that's another story. Starting later this weekend through next week will feel like deep fall.

Yeah I don't mind some torches in the fall. They are much nicer than in the summer.

We've gotten a good mix this autumn...and the see-saw will continue going forward.

Exactly, some nice chilly fall weather coming and all this evaporates like the mist out there today. We'll enjoy it more as a result.

lol still pushing that fallacy I see, very very few people like swampy conditions, 99% like COC weather , proven and shown very clearly this summer, Dew the dew is for the great minority

Why? Because I hate winter? I tolerate it. Just dont see a use for it :)

It was more of a joke..lol. That phrase has been said for various reasons around here.

I enjoy the cold and snow for personal reasons and loathe the heat and humidity since it's basically a waste...but more power to you if you enjoy it.

I don't think you should leave. Yeah, we'll all get kind of pissed off when we get a warm spell in December and you're happy about it.. but warm spells do come and they are just as much a part of the season as cold and snow. Part of the ups and downs of a normal cold season. If you enjoy those days when you can go golfing in mid winter, then relish them and have fun. The rest of us can put on sackcloth and pray for snow. Just stay amused with it all and don't let anyone push you out.

Of course, I am hoping for 140" of snow here in Worcester and white on the ground from Thanksgiving to the end of March followed by a beautiful (and warm) spring. Takes a lot of different kinds of folks to float the New England weather boat.

You actually bit on that troll bait?

We ran a poll here and it didn't matter that the results showed the opposite of what he said...just ignore the bait.
