Mr Bob
After seeing the same old crappy patter on the Euro Weeklies into the first week of March I am tempted to take one for the team and say winter cancel just to get some positive mojo...but I am pretty sure nothing will work against this year.... tnweathernut
Not that it matters; but it wouldn't be done snowing in east TN at 240 either.

Stovepipe
I know I'm late to the 12z Euro party but this is just beautiful. Would love to see some modicum of consistency in the modeling and us ride this one home. Long shot probably, but glad to see it today.
Stovepipe
At this point, I'd be excited about the mountains getting crushed. It's past time to take a little drive up there and play in the snow. I believe it was the day after Halloween when my boys and I did that last.
Freezing Fog
Wow that is beautiful. Would be perfect for Bonnaroo in Febuary. I know I'm late to the 12z Euro party but this is just beautiful. Freezing Fog
Take it back a few years and it's like Roos lineup would have been Bob Dillion and Iron Maiden.

Stovepipe
Also I heard the roo offered the dead 3 million to headline the thing but got turned down. Apparently kanye west being rude to phil lesh in '08 meant something. As it stands the wife and I are waiting to see if we get mail order tickets for the Chicago run. Better venue for that, even though I have love for middle TN. Fingers crossed for us!
Freezing Fog
Very cool. My wife and I saw The Dead at Bonnaroo in 2004. Great show. Haven't been back in a while. Missed both Kayne shows there. So... I got that going for me! Ha

Carvers Gap
And hey, the worst winters are where storm after storm keeps missing your area. This winter, outside of Boston and points NE, it has been terrible for snow pretty much everywhere. Misery loves company. On that note, prepare ye for a cold spring. tnweathernut
Man, there sure are a LOT of northern stream impulses on the 12z Euro. Maybe we can score a clipper or something with one of these cold pushes over the coming 6-10.
Stovepipe
12z Euro has a 2-4 inch hit for east TN and the upper Cumberland. SW VA gets into big dog territory. Rest of the area has between a half and 2 inches including North GA. This is the middle of next week time period.
Stovepipe
12z Euro ensemble mean looks great for the entire Tennessee Valley. There is a SW to NE gradient of 2 to 5 inches of snow, starting at day 8 and building forward. The control is similar but only for a line from Clarkesville to Nashville to Chattanooga and eastward. I know it's over a week away and based on this winter, not likely. But I'd rather have the 3 major models showing something in this time period after a bout of crazy cold. It's better than what has been shown for the past week or so.
John1122
I'd take anafrontal snow showers at this point behind one of the cold pushes. I love days where it's blustery and snowy.
tnweathernut
It's almost to a point where there are as many big hits on the eps individuals as there are misses. Does anyone think we escape the 7-15 day period snowless?
