CarlislePaWx
Heavy snow continues here. Almost up to 1.5" accumulation. Recorded 0.15" of rainfall before the complete changeover back around 8:30. Everything is white including my street. Temp seems locked in at 32.6 / 31.9. So far this storm looks a lot like the wet snow storm we had back in late January. Temp never dropped below 32.3 the whole event but we had pretty good accumulations >4". Snowing here right off of Elmerton Ave, sticking to cars and laying in grass Yes I am at home... changing back over to snow now. I am seeing same thing as Zak where it seems like when radar is showing heaviest bands overhead the precip is actually light enough that is changing back to rain or doing not much of anything at all

Jmister
Should we be worried about the state of the radar right now? Awfully close to that back edge. It looks like we may have already had our heaviest snow as the meso-band slips east. We should hold onto light-moderate snow for another several hours by the looks of it. http://mp1.met.psu.edu/~fxg1/WXTYPE/loop25ne.html
