EastCoast NPZ
I'm too lazy to look up the average dates of first freezes for DCA and RIC. I see quite a few going with the first freeze occurring at RIC before DCA. I know DCA has its issues, but on average does RIC really see a freeze before DCA? I don't understand this. RIC can have good radiational cooling conditions during late fall. DCA will always struggle. RIC airport is east of the city in an area that doesn't have a bunch of urban development. East of the airport is mostly undeveloped.

Bob Chill
tell that to the snow on the ground in 13 days. I'm a euro ens groupie until further notice. I never would have guessed that RIC sees an earlier freeze than DCA. Might need to adjust my guesses for this contest.
