lj0109 Posted September 22, 2014 Share Posted September 22, 2014 Around this hour 25 years ago, 2 MUSC students who were sheltering in our family's beach house on the Isle of Palms opened the front door of our house only to be swept into the storm surge. tmagan Posted September 22, 2014 Share Posted September 22, 2014 When it first hit the Lesser Antilles, I remember there were reports of ears popping amongst residents there, in fact Knick legend Walt Frazier was there when Hugo made landfall there. saltysenior Posted September 22, 2014 Share Posted September 22, 2014 A fellow had damage to his boat from Hugo while it was in St.Thomas....Hugo then destroyed the marina he owned in Georgetown,SC, Then it destroyed his truckstop on I-95 in SC..
