My maple is completely down, but the ones across the street are hanging on. The oaks are still majority up. We have three leaf pickups in our neighborhood, ~4 weeks apart. Think we passed peak at least few days ago in the city tho maybe I mischaracterize peak as it seems foliage net has continually lagged. Leaves coming down good now imagine a few days of winds should make it look more like winter despite some which still have a way to go. Finished my planned 30 day run yesterday but going to keep going thru Sunday anticipating foliage net does push us to past peak tomorrow. Ian Posted November 13, 2014 Share Posted November 13, 2014 Thanks! The one a day posting is interesting.. I cheated twice recently on flickr but both of the "2nd shots" were of spots not in DC. Like yesterday I took 500 pictures so it was difficult to choose just one/two. At this point it's as much fitting into the 'story' as using the best on a good day at least. At this point, my shutter needs a rest before the holiday season and snowstorms. My fall photo set is 202 GB right now. I've taken so many pictures this year, not sure why. My workflow is also kinda terrible. I do low res JPEG plus RAW mainly since RAW doesn't automatically show you a thumbnail. I'm like a year behind in organizing my photos now.. need to get on that soon. I too hope for a lengthy break. It would be nice not to touch the camera for a month! I am doing a wrap for CWG soon so have some for that I haven't shared anywhere.. should get first go there. On some days I struggled to get one or two passable ones but on others I had maybe 2 or 3 dozen. I have a bunch already processed and ready to go and a number I need to get to. Kinda doubt I'll post them all this yr but hopefully eventually.. maybe after I finish the best chase days from this year that I left for last like a dope since I didn't get to them lol.
