Maybe...I think I'll do better tonight.

18Z MAV just came in with 18F for SLK...31F BTV, 26F MVL, 34F CON, HIE 22F, BML 23F.

I'm still slightly skeptical with mid-30s dews right now...especially since dews have leveled off the past 3 hours here.

I could see 30-32F locally, but I guess there's always that one brief last dpi that could be 28F or so.

Well, it’s definitely that time of year again… time for BTV NWS advisories maps with cold-weather colors.  We went right to Freeze Warnings this season with nary a Frost Advisory for our location as far as I can recall:

I covered up the garden very well just in case, but it will be interesting to see how things go here since we seem to be protected a bit being right by the Winooski.  Currently our thermometer is indicating 41 F/33  F for Temp/DP.

J...we had a frost advisory a few days ago on the 14th into the 15th.

Struggling a bit to radiate with some brief clouds that just moved through.  I'm at 39.2F, and MVL was at 39F and just rose back to 40F.  We've leveled off for the past 2-3 hours.

Statement as of 9:42 am EDT on September 19, 2014

... Record low temperatures set or tied across Vermont and New York...

The low temperature at Burlington Vermont this morning was 32

degrees. This ties the record low for the date which was set back in

1959.

The low temperature at Saint Johnsbury Vermont this morning was 29

degrees. This ties the record low for the date which was set back in

1943.

A new record low temperature was set at Massena New York this

morning. The low temperature was 28 which breaks the old record of

30 set back in 2008.
