Predict the Date: First Bonafide Nor'Easter of the Season

My winds are out of the NE and it's about to rain. The pressure means squat because its relative to the massive high to north this the gradient is sharp despite having a week low. Feb 2003 and B of 96 had relatively high pressures and we all remember the results. This rainstorm is indeed a nor'easter.

Red Sky you win.

Looking at radar estimates looks like over 0.50" both east and west of NW Chester County but just over 0.30" here so far - still way above normal rain for the date but has been a bit dry over the last couple months so - nice to see

Currently Rain

Temp 56.1

Wind NE - 3 to 5mph

Chilly (57 degrees) and a gusty wind, mainly out of the ENE, but also becoming more variable as the low center approaches.

We are just about to .50" of rain, much less than anticipated 24 hours ago.   But, still much needed.

Seems like it's weakening as it moves closer to us.   There have been brief bursts of heavy rain, but it has been sporadic, with times when it was barely raining at all.

As to whether this is a "bona fide" Nor'easter,  I think it is.   Not a very strong one, but it's affect on the surf and the wind and temperature profiles would tell me this is a "bona fide" Nor-easter.

Someone raised the objection that storm was essentially inland slightly, but, based on Wikepedia FWIW:

Sometimes a noreaster will move slightly inland and bring rain to the cities on the coastal plain (NYC, Philadelphia, Baltimore,...etc.)

I will leave it to the owner of the thread to decide whether RedSky wins, but I think he does.
