5th 90F of the week.  Ridiculous.  Even worse, watching storm after storm either slide to my N or S, or die on my door step.  Already had one of each happen today, and as I sit here under a t-storm alert, I'm watching the line completely split on my doorstep.

Had the misfortune of having to mow today.  Brutal.  And mow is used loosely, Only shaded patches in the deepest dirt are alive.  I've been here 4 years now and I have never seen my grass so burned up this late in the season.  Never.  Not even in 2010.  At least in 2010 the entire region was a desert.  This year,  I can practically throw a football and hit areas that have 150%+ normal rainfall this summer. I'm sitting at less than 40%.
