Don't know what the F is up with that radar. I ran the loop and it looks like the storms built south and went over me. Even reds on the radar, yet nothing. *&^%^ing nothing.

Weatherbug radar. Is it operating in clean-air mode or something?

I feel your pain. Got lucky and had 3/4" up here.

I'll take some table scraps and be happy. Currently 65/64.

In other news, finally got a new VP2+ w/ fan. Uber expensive but now that I've mounted it on my roof I can get accurate wind readings...finally.

Congrats, I have a Ambient Weather WS-2080. Cheaper model but gets the job done.

Wow! Nice station. I have the Vantage Vue, it gets the job done pretty well.

Thanks guys. I thought about it for a bit, but after my old VP2 started spitting out 150 degree readings in the Sun, I just kinda knew...haha. Got to test the anemometer/rain gauge this evening too w/ the new roof mount...got a wind gust to 11mph and a brief 2.65"/hr rainfall rate, which was on par with the surrounding PWS readings.

Thinking of buying a 30-50ft telescoping pole so I can mount the anemometer even higher, but in DC I dunno about the legality of that. We'll be moving to the MD 'burbs next summer, sometime after I graduate (probably up near Damascus) so might wait until then to do that.
