I'm surprised there are so many below average months and winters on the whole...It looks like March is the stormiest month...we had snowy winters that were wet or dry...snowless winters that were wet or dry...I added 1979-80 which was a weak positive enso...

I'm surprised February 2007 was that dry given the sleet-fest on Valentine's Day.

February 1978 had only 1.59" of precipitation with 23.0" of snowfall...Not one drop of rain fell that month...The only other month I found without a drop of rain was January 1981...0.58" of precipitation fell as all snow... 8.0"...
