John1122
Middle Tennessee looks pretty good on radar. Not sure if it's gonna pivot east and stay together but at least some of the valley is getting flakes again.
Stovepipe
The Tellico Plains area looks to be in a position to do well with this. Any posters have obs from there?
John1122
Decent snow coming down here. Already had snow on the ground from this morning in most places but it's already covering cars and such that were melted.
Stovepipe
RadarScope is not half bad on me right now, but just getting flurries. Kind of puffy when it lands, like mini grauple. Holding at 33 degrees.

nrgjeff
I started to notice light snow flurries in Chattanooga around 8:30 pm Eastern. Radar loop had echos an hour ago but I'm not sure if anything.. or what, was hitting the ground then. Anyway flurries now in Chatty. Let's see if we can give Boston a run for their money, lol! Maybe it's an appetizer for something more significant late weekend.

Stovepipe
The 12z GFS nailed my actual amount within a 10th of an inch. It said .27 I have .35 ish, lol. Not bad considering its resolution. Funny to be splitting hairs like that. I did enjoy seeing the sun reflect off the snow capped Smokies this past weekend from my back porch. That would not be notable in most Januarys, but this winter it is. Gotta take what you can get.
