Coach B
Picked up .8" here outside of Lewisburg. Seems like pretty widespread 1/2" - 1" reports across middle TN.

1234snow
Just woke up and big flakes are flying. Still nothing on the ground to show for it.
Stovepipe
Woke up to nothing on the ground and 34 degrees. I'm sure it was falling at some point though based on the radar loop. Congrats to those that got a covering!
Jed33
Got right around a half inch on the picnic table. I'll say this last gasp of the deform band really overachieved! I thought it was going to be a dismal failure when I first woke up and saw how ragged it was. Somehow it came back together though and it snowed hard from about 7:15 to just about 5 min ago. Very happy to have gotten just this much!
tnweathernut
39 at 5:15, now 34 with light snow and a dusting on elevated surfaces. I know I should be grateful for snow, but nuisance snow kind of irritates me. lol.
Vol Man
The little batch has passed through...got a slight dusting, but better than nothing I guess. Let's hope the clipper can make it a little more wintry...
Silas Lang
Went for a walk at Willow Springs Park in Johnson City. Coming down at a nice clip! Looks to be about 1/4 inch on the grass.
jaxjagman
Little clipper system is showing signs of over performing, already seeing signs of returns on the radar nearing the Ky/Tn line, couple hrs faster than the HRRR is showing
John1122
That one looks pretty good for Central areas. Hopefully you guys pick up an inch. Most modeling shows it fizzing some as it works east,

ShawnEastTN
Might just be a bunch of virga There are some obs out of Illinois and W. Kentucky of light snow, probably the heavier returns only. Locally in ETN, still enough low level moisture in place looking at obs, so not too much dry air to overcome at the moment.
Stovepipe
So any obs out of the Nashville area with those heavier returns? Also, where the hell is Jmundie? We actually had some very fine powdery flakes falling in West Knoxville about an hour ago, just enough to put a little dust on the deck for a bit. Currently 33 degrees. I'm curious too, I poked around TDOT smartway cams, of course after dark hard to tell but looked like up near Hendersonville some of the cams where there is enough light looked like dusting on the ground. Also haze around street lights, which could be light snowfall. Again hard to tell with it being after dark now.
