Got right around a half inch on the picnic table. I'll say this last gasp of the deform band really overachieved! I thought it was going to be a dismal failure when I first woke up and saw how ragged it was. Somehow it came back together though and it snowed hard from about 7:15 to just about 5 min ago. Very happy to have gotten just this much!

So any obs out of the Nashville area with those heavier returns?  Also, where the hell is Jmundie?

We actually had some very fine powdery flakes falling in West Knoxville about an hour ago, just enough to put a little dust on the deck for a bit.  Currently 33 degrees.

I'm curious too, I poked around TDOT smartway cams, of course after dark hard to tell but looked like up near Hendersonville some of the cams where there is enough light looked like dusting on the ground.  Also haze around street lights, which could be light snowfall.  Again hard to tell with it being after dark now.

NWS Nashville just expanded their SPS for their entire CWA, and updated it with the following:

...LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS MAINLY ACROSS NORTHEAST MIDDLE
TENNESSEE TONIGHT...

...MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO USE CAUTION ON BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES...

A WEAK WEATHER DISTURBANCE WILL BRING COLDER TEMPERATURES AND
ANOTHER CHANCE FOR SNOW ACCUMULATIONS MAINLY ACROSS NORTHEAST
MIDDLE TENNESSEE TONIGHT.

AT 5 PM...REPORTS ARE COMING IN OF LIGHT SNOW OR FLURRIES AROUND
NASHVILLE AND IN THE LEBANON AREA. AIR TEMPERATURES ARE IN THE
LOWER TO MIDDLE 30S IN MANY AREAS WITH ROAD SURFACES STILL ABOVE
FREEZING. AS WE GO THROUGH 9 PM...LOOK FOR A DUSTING ON GRASSY
AREAS AND ROOF TOPS IN AND AROUND NASHVILLE WITH A FEW TENTHS OF
AN INCH ACCUMULATION OVER NORTHEAST MIDDLE TENNESSEE AND IN THE
UPPER CUMBERLAND. MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO ESPECIALLY USE CAUTION ON
APPROACHING BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES.

AFTER 9 PM...ANOTHER TRAILING WEAK DISTURBANCE DROPS DOWN FROM THE
NORTHWEST THAT WILL KEEP FLURRIES AND LIGHT SNOW ONGOING IN THE
OVERNIGHT HOURS.

WHILE ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE MINOR..SOME TRAVEL HAZARDS MAY OCCUR.
TRAVELERS MAY ENCOUNTER SOME SLICK SPOTS IN THESE AREAS. CAUTION
IS ADVISED...ESPECIALLY FOR BACK ROADS...BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES.
