Wow
They getting any closer to getting the GSP radar up and running? Did someone take a shovel to it or something? it's working now. The eastern NC folks have taken over the obs thread. Where are our western NC guys and gals? Charlotte got hammered last night with several inches of rain. I just missed out, receiving around zero inches. Looking better tonight... already raining with the precip shield expanding SE from the foothills. Looking better tonight... already raining with the precip shield expanding SE from the foothills. We're all watching NFL Kickoff night! I got zero inches yesterday too, Wow. Tonight's been different. A very pleasant light rain has been falling since around 8 PM. I've received around a third of an inch of rainfall so far.

A weather geek who's fallen on hard times and really needs to know rainfall number in his backyard? Nice pics. Especially the lightning one. Brick Tamland
I am having a crappy day, so I am going out for lunch instead of eating the leftovers I brought. Hvward
I think they saw it had a tipping bucket and must have mistaken that for tripping bucket. Living downtown it didn't surprise me one bit. Someone probably felt I was taking too much water from the ground around or they needed something new to bounce quarters into. The possibilites are endless. I always eat out on Fridays. It's like an end of the week treat. I usually eat out on Thursdays too. It's like an almost end of the week treat. Good pix, by the way, Hvward! Cold Rain
^ Plenty of slaw on that dog. Their fries are the best. There's a new gourmet hot dog place that just opened here in downtown. $7.00 per dog. $2.00 per drink. $3.00 per small fry. Plus tax. Plus tip, if you eat in. I'm guessing I'll never know what a gourmet hotdog tastes like.

Don't no if they made it to NC, but they came up from GA and are popping up everywhere! But two giant hotdogs, all beef, toppings and everything, 2.22$, good and will fill you up! 93 and dry

Plus, it has the added bonus of when you spill some mustard on your shirt, you can freely shout out "sheetz", and nobody bats an eye!
GaStorm
Ha! Give me that spreadfire gun and I can go all day. Got to be one of the top 10 best old school games. I'd obviously have to put Pac Man, Defender, Super Mario Brothers, Spy Hunter, and Mortal Kombat (all though some might debate whether it's old school or not). Finding a green mushroom was the best! Contra is a classic! Loved playing that game. Don't forget Metroid, Shinobi, Joust and Afterburner. Some great classics that come to mind as well. Slaw is anti-american on a dog.

If I'm at Zack's in Burlington, I get a combo chili (mustard, cheese, and chili...add ketchup)! Best dog ever right there.
