Yep fields are a mess and they are still cornfields that havent been picked yet around here which is pretty unheard of in Sept.....the beans are turning colors as well....we have had close to a half inch already, hoping today is a bust

Quite windy too a really raw day temps around 60, north wind steady around 10-15mph, there were lots of umbrellas getting turned inside out in the parking lot at the plant this morning.....gusting 25-30 I bet at times....would have been a good morning to crack the window and sleep in.......

It is funny to observe an umbrella reversing!

After a beautifully cool day yesterday, we got into the warm sector of this storm and our temp and dew point responded, currently it is 72 with a dew point of 71. Kinda muggy out there. Precip wise, we got .90" for the day which pushed us to 6.36" for the month. That's 3 out of the last 4 months that we have had more than 6". In July we had 5.50".

the weather has been awesome lately. yesterday mid afternoon in the upper 60s with blue skies and fluffy clouds.  Went into the 40s for the first time last night. low was 49.1

It sure has been nice. Got down to 52 here yesterday morning. I kept the windows open and actually got cold lol. Clouds kept the temps up today though. At least we can probably say we are done with the 90s...that's always a big step in my book
