Currently it is 71, dew point of 67. Not bad outside except for those pesky mosquitoes.
metalicwx366
2.19 from the storm and that fell very quickly with the intense rain rates. Backyard was a pool for a little bit. 3000 people without power here. Epic storm with wind gusts up to 80mph possibly even higher. Rain wasn't even forecast today. mackerel_sky
I would think with 80 mph gusts as he was describing, there would have to be a good amount of damage? Metal what are you seeing?

Cold Rain
^ Hahahahaha! Although I'm sure there's a good explanation. Probably, the storm damaged Waycross' telegraph lines and toppled over all of the carrier pigeons cages. Storm reports will probably be slow to emerge. metalicwx366
yesterday_filtered.gifJacksonville never reports any damage here. They never issue warnings or anything. Did you see the damage pics I posted back in June and nothing was reported or no warning was issued. We had trees and powerlines down area wide but not like in June because of the shorter duration of the winds. Downed trees are what caused the 3000+ power outages last night. Cold Rain
did you submit a damage report? The wagon trail has a tree blocking it and the rivers are high. It'll be days before they can ford it and get word out.
metalicwx366
did you submit a damage report?Yes. It's like they only care about Jacksonville. If one tree branch falls there, it will be on the storm reports.
