scoob40
Monday night looks like one of those strong backdoor passages that Tip loves..where screen doors are slammed shut and fingers are smashed in them by strong30-35mph NE wind gusts as the front moves thru 3 straight days of 80+ before then ? Damage In Tolland
Gotta love how the Euro gives the entire region 3-5 inches of rain by next Friday and the GFS and GGEM are basically dry

dryslot
might be the best COC weekend of the fall, get out and enjoy it before long it will be dreaded November, no leaves, no sun, no snow, no fun, November Go go go
moneypitmike
I don't even use what my tipper reports, I only use my CoCorahs gauge as it is dead nuts on and my tipper constantly under reports by at least 10%, Plus pretty tough taking a core sample of snow flipping the tipper bucket upside down.............. This is encouraging discussion as Chris in Greenfield almost always records more rain than I. In thunderstorms, etc. it's easy to understand. In more wide-spread events, I was always surprised I was getting sometimes significantly less. Maybe it's my DP2. ct will likely declare drought watch by dec under new laws passed two years ago Damn, no lawns getting watered in Tolland this December. November certainly has the holiday and anticipation going for it, but for weather....it really sucks. Usually cold and wet. THIS NOT THIS I hate November. Probably the worst month of weather... just depressing and normally pretty blah. It's always been among my favorite months. Glimpses of true winter appearing. Hoping that the cold air may swoop in before a storm's rains let up....model watching beginning with the (often in vain) hopes that things may trend colder than a currently progged cold rain.... HIPPYVALLEY
I enjoy hiking and walking in the woods in November. Semper911
Put me in the November column. It means the good months have commenced, while March says they're over. At the moment, though, I just need some damn rain. And I would pay money for a stretch of cloudy and cool. I was hoping someone had some evidence of a pattern change I could hang my hat on. I just hope at least this will weekend will be the end of 80 degree days.

Quincy
Nothing like some late November snow to set the mood for Thanksgiving and the upcoming holidays. Not to mention establishing that long-lasting snow-cover to remind us of the deep, deep winter ahead.

CT Rain
We are talking about weather and snow, not Emotional attachments to months and holidays. Hands down, March. Yeah totally. Novie has short days, lame storms, and not a lot of excitement. March is definitely the better storm month... And even when it's s MORCH you can get a nice taste of early spring.
