HIPPYVALLEY
More comfy in GC. 76.7/72, .09" from showers alternating with the sun. Currently shining brightly again. More comfy at your elevation. 84/78 here. Swampy.
powderfreak
Full on scorcher outside of areas that have seen showers in the past couple hours (GC into SVT and eastward towards the ORH hills and S.NH). Can see that rain cooled air nicely in CNE, however its probably more humid in those areas too if that's possible. Biggest departures today for early September are probably the areas in NE VT into N.NH that are tickling the mid-80s or will be shortly. Those spots are really starting to see their average high temps fall off now in climo terms being the first to really get into those fall airmasses most years. powderfreak
More comfy at your elevation. 84/78 here. Swampy. One helluva lapse rate if he's 76F at 1,000ft and you're 84F at 400ft lol. That's the magic of Gods Country...or evaporative cooling from rain lol. That's like 13F/1000ft.
Ginx snewx
Definite consideration. Picking up elevation and longitude. Quiet street great for pack retention. Sky lights in the master to view snow from bed. Screened porch to watch the little severe we get. Would have to buy a snow blower though.were the heat pumps more expensive than you expected? I saw your reference to gas?

No they were great but probably close to what gas costs...maybe slightly less. I don't want to do oil again if we end up moving.
