ORH_wxman
Jesus..Abundantly clear after reading this just how much the current pattern sucks it. Atlantic Hurricane Season was about as effective as the 2014 Red Sox....back home we're in the equivalent of January for NHL/NBA (i.e. nobody gives a rats azz)...so we're left with this. CoastalWx
Instead, I'm just reading COOP charts when it's this boring.
Ginx snewx
Tonight is horrid. My AC is already out.always leave mine in until 1st week Oct, don't have it on though. Ginx snewx
Instead, I'm just reading COOP charts when it's this boring. I had a ball doing that the other day, those handwritten notes are worth their weight in gold, the sanitized rote numbers only new style really took the fun out of it. powderfreak
Jesus..Abundantly clear after reading this just how much the current pattern sucks it. Yeah but there's really nothing else besides a cane hit that would be more exciting this time of year. We did some record low maxes and mins last week (in NNE at least), and that wasn't much more exciting though a nice change of pace lol.
SlantStickers Anonymous
So glad I was too lazy to take out my bedroom AC last week. This pattern has been about as exciting as Hank Hill.

moneypitmike
I'm happy share everything but my snow. LOL. I guess the progged gusts to 35mph today will be the least boring weather of late here (since we didn't get any rain yesterday). CAA ftw. 57.9/

HimoorWx
Drove by the reservoir in Randolph yesterday, and it was not a pretty sight - lots of mud and rocks showing. Already on level 3 restrictions, and yesterday's sprinkles didn't help much. Send rain, please!
eekuasepinniW
No appreciable rain in the last 22 days... drought has finally reached up here. CoastalWx
Some if it is likely due to stress, but some noticeable color over the last few days along rt 3 in typical spots. Surprisingly vibrant in spots too.
CoastalWx
I'm sure some of it is the natural progression of a more active jet and increasingly baroclinicity from climo, but we should start to see a more Fall like pattern developing in terms of typical storminess heading into October. Notice the big Bering Sea and Aleutian low and the heights amplified out west. It's not a cold pattern, but we are seeing the signs of more typical Fall-like pattern developing heading through October. I'm not trying to point out anything special, but I always find the change of seasons fascinating as they play out. It's never a gradual, slow process. It's usually a flip of the switch it seems. weatherwiz
Hopefully we can manage even slightly above-normal temperatures through October. Would be great to go to hockey games and not have to freeze going from the bar to the game. Last year was awful
