SnoSki14
When things get warm they get really warm. These warm anomalies will shatter any cooler anomalies we've seen recently like nothing. I think we'll see a +4 month if the ridging is supposed to make a strong return again.

uncle W
To be that far below normal when compared to the 1940-1970 block is insane. I love cool falls; that would have been amazing for me. from October 11th to February 7th(120 days) NYC was at least -10 on 46 days using the 1941-70 normals......Over a third of the days...August 31st was -10 with the lowest August minimum tied...October had two days 29 degrees that was one above the all time record low... SACRUS
Today looks like a gem. Sunny temps in the 85 - 90 range. Dews have dropped in to the low 60s so should feel more comfortable for the normal folks. For me and the summer extreme wackadoos we'll get by with the lower Td's and continue to enjoy this weather - making up for an all but lost August..
