The nonsensical climate change denial in the beginning of this video essentially invalidates the forecast provided by this meteorologist (JB I believe). This person can't remove their own impartiality from their predictions, which will inevitably making them a poor forecaster.

JB is absolutely obsessed with it and has been for a few years now

Septembers have been well above the 30 year norm over the last 10 years, but the way models have been all over the place the jury is still out on the last week of the month.

That's true. It's far out but kind of hoping October is cool even more, because that gives us better odds for the winter overall. At least it looks like hot weather is over.

While NYC didn't get as hot as last September for a daily high temperature, we are following

the similar theme of dropping into the low 50's following 90+ degree temperatures.

so far this September is looking alot like last September in the temp department - last year we had some hot days earlier in the month then we had  below normal temps in the middle -anyone remember what the indicies were at this time last year ? EPO - NAO - PNA -AO - SOI - etc etc ?

It was almost to cold last night to sleep with the fan on and the windows open. I slept with the comforter on all night for the first time since May without the AC blasting. I think 90's are done and other than a stray day in the lower 80's, 70's will be the rule.

 

Probably counts as banter, but why would you have your fan on?
