Hvward
Recon is finding winds of +80mph currently. To bad its a fish storm. Saw on the main page where there was a good bit of lightning in the eye last night. GFS & GGEM(tropically-challanged) both show on day 10 a landfalling low on nc or sc coast. Euro lags the wave and allows it to drift farther north. Euro did well with Christobal so we shall see.
Solak
At least it's starting to look like a storm this afternoon.
Hvward
Hurricane Hunters just found 983mb on a double back that they did. Looks like they found it NNW of the previous lowest pressure.. interesting wobble. Are we seeing Cristobal bombogenesis? 24mb drop in 24hr is the classification. It was 994mb 12hrs ago so it would need to drop to 970mb by the 8am update. Something to watch.

mackerel_sky
Looks like it's weakening and ingesting dry air from the North
Hvward
Looks like it's weakening and ingesting dry air from the North True, but with the large meso-vortices showing up in eye it looks more like an eye wall replacement cycle as it ramps up again this am. Hasn't lost any strength or pressure so I don't think it is weakening a great deal with models continuing to drop pressure over today.
