Indystorm
Looks like both Hoosier and I will see some storms with that line in IL strengthening and moving se. Got a dinner party at 6 EDT which will have to be indoors instead of on the patio in all probability. Heavy rain looks to be the biggest threat, perhaps farther south than the areas that got dumped on in IN the other night.

A-L-E-K
Storms in SC Wisconsin still pretty potent at 630am. Not sure they will die out as much as expected. SUMMARY...STRONG WIND GUSTS MAY PRODUCE LOCALIZED DAMAGING WINDS FOR A FEW MORE HOURS WITH STORM CLUSTERS PROGRESSING E/NE FROM SW WI/FAR NE IA. DISCUSSION...MERGING CLUSTERS HAVE SUPPORTED AN INCREASE IN FORWARD SPEED AND BULGING REFLECTIVITY STRUCTURE FROM JUNEAU TO IOWA COUNTY WI. THIS HAS ENHANCED DOWNDRAFT MOMENTUM AND YIELDED A STRONG WIND GUST MEASURED AT KLNR OF 44 KT. ALTHOUGH SCATTERERS ARE FEW AND FAR BETWEEN IN DVN/MKX VWP DATA...LSE SAMPLED 50 KT WLYS FROM 3-6 KM AGL IN THE WAKE OF THE CLUSTER. THIS SHOULD HELP MAINTAIN FORWARD MOMENTUM AS THE LEADING EDGE OF THE CLUSTER PROGRESSES ACROSS THE NRN PERIPHERY OF AN AIR MASS THAT HAS YET NOT BEEN OVERTURNED THIS MORNING...CHARACTERIZED BY MIDDLE TO UPPER 70S SURFACE TEMPERATURES AND 72-76 DEG F DEW POINTS. THIS MAY YIELD A BIT LONGER DURATION OF STRONG GUST POTENTIAL FARTHER E TOWARDS LK MICHIGAN...COMPARED TO THE RAPID DEMISE OF AN EARLIER CLUSTER NEAR KGRB. wisconsinwx
was 81 on the bank clock downtown at 6:30 Yikes, and that was less likely to be biased than usual since it was likely cloudy (though still a couple degrees warmer than reality most likely). Gilbertfly
Observing nice low level cloud motion....good pace and out of the south...more typical of days that go on to produce something decent for mby. Not set in stone...but a casual obs looking up. Been watching the outflow to my north out the window. Progression has slowed quite a bit.
