bigtenfan
Its a bit hard to calculate because there are gonna be a few midnight highs/lows, but looks like it will be more than 10 below normal and quite possibly among the 5 coldest February's on record. Thank you so much.

KamuSnow
That band of snow on the radar has generated a few flakes here but that's about it. Temperature dropped from 31F to 28F in the last hour or so.

The Iceman
Cool pics, I know exactly The spot where you took every shot haha good stuff. Completely off topic, these two near misses this week hurt. That miller a would be the perfect cap To wintered.

Agree a real Miller A with cold High parked near Montreal would be a perfect way to cap off a weird winter.

Harbourton
Nice sky tonight. Orion's Belt is in SSE and the moon's tilted to hold water which in the old times means dry weather ahead. May be someone else can add to astronomical pattern tonight.

KamuSnow
Added to the snow pile on Saturday of course, although it shrunk about a foot on Sunday. Still 6 ft. high, and a nice perch for certain squirrels....

As much as these last 2 weeks are a real nice finish to February, I'd also like to be not done yet with significant snowfall. Tonight and early tomorrow is still a near miss although we could get a dusting out of it by the looks of things. There are a couple of opportunities late this coming weekend to mid next week depending on storm tracks.

Redmorninglight
OK so are south coastal areas in for a nice surprise tomorrow morning? From what I read in mid-atlantic forum, my county could score a few inches by lunchtime tomorrow. Am i reading this correct? Globals seem less bullish, but short-range models are wetter. Love me some southern sliders.

RedSky
Long range is looking abysmal. Going to waste this cold wave early next week with rain then it appears cold - rain - cold back like first half of January pattern. A no snow pattern like last year only wetter It's like hell has frozen over

In fact, I'm thinking we get some decent snow out of it (in NW Montco and NW Bucks county).

Harbourton
+AO/+NAO, not liking the chances... AO and NAO have been positive all of February - they don't seem to driving the bus. However, the PNA is going negative now and should allow a more northerly track as time goes on.
RedSky
9" on my front lawn and snow cover since Jan 22. In one week barring a rain storm I should pass 2011 with second longest stretch of snow cover. #1 is of course last winter. 2010 and 1996 weren't cold enough and suffered melt offs.
