_AR_
Sun was actually out for some period of time this morning. I was scared and didn't know what was happening. Luckily the clouds thickened and we are back to the normal overcast scene. Merry Christmas!
Ralph Wiggum
Merry Christmas! Looks like the pattern change is on hold yet again. This winter is quickly going down the tubes. The thaw that is progged will probably come just as a slap in the face....but can we call it a thaw if we didnt freeze? Frustration starting to settle in. I haven't given up on something Monday night +/-...if the Euro comes north a bit I'll be encouraged. Beyond that...seems like anyone's guess at this point. A warm up seems very possible towards mid-month, but if we get some snow first it will be easier to take for sure.

Any thoughts of a mid-month warm up should be consoled against the supposed turn to colder weather that was supposed to be underway now...
snowwors2
I'm sure we can all agree how easy Sheena is on the eyes but, I must say, I really enjoy watching hurricane on the 11 o'clock news… And he seems to be holding out some potential hope for next week, certainly cold and perhaps a shot or two at some snow!!! KamuSnow
As of this morning looks like our snow chances next week will be maybe at the end of the rain Sunday-Sunday night and again next weekend on the front end of another cutter. Bliz299
The Long Term section of Mt. Holly's 9:06pm Forecast Discussion ends stating: "IT APPEARS THE BITTER COLD AIR WILL REMAIN LOCKED IN CANADA FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE, WITH NO MAJOR SNOWSTORMS ON THE HORIZON JUST YET."To me that says no REAL winter weather happening any time soon. True?
