WxJordan
67° with .64 of an inch of rain today. Not too bad since we have only had .67 of an inch since 3 p.m. Friday in Hildebran, NC.
Cold Rain
Got a bit more than an inch last night and this morning. Just cloudy now. No washout today!
metalicwx366
Haven't seen it rain this hard before in a while. Over 2 inches already in less than 20 minutes. Radar definitely underestimating the amount of rain coming down especially with these PWs in excess of 2 inches.
NEGa
no rain for the second day lol - shouldnt be surprised i guess since the bigger storms seem to come when there isnt much of a chance. high chances this summer have yielded next to nothing. although on a side note i really cant complain. 66 and cloudy with fog and drizzle - not bad at all for august. lets hope this coolness translates to coldness this winter lmao
cbmclean
Yesterday I was planning to make a post that we got 0.22" and had to struggle for every 0.01". However, in the evening and overnight we got another solid inch. Nothing today but I don't mind, the garden is well-watered.
jburns
Only 0.33" total for the entire event. Almost all of it in a 10 minute shower yesterday around lunch time.
BIG FROSTY
One of the biggest bust I've seen here in a long time! Was forecasted to get 4+ inches from Friday-Sunday Night and I've only had 0.33 thus far... Now if it had been a snow storm I would have expected the big bust... yotaman
Just got back from a 2 week vacation to Colorado. Loved it out there. Saw temps out there from 95 to 37 with sleet. Anyway, I am surprised at all the rain that has fallen this month and last. We had a grand total of 8.00" in July and so far this month is at 5.24". My yard is water logged and one of my small trees is showing major signs of too much water. Leaves turned yellow and are wilting and falling off. griteater
I've had off and on rain showers or drizzle all day. First half of August is going to be among the coolest in the record books for many areas in North Carolina.

Solak
Radar is a convoluted mess right now over central NC! Echos are moving every direction but vertically upwards Just picked up several 15 hundredths in a slow moving shower as soon as I got the mower in the garage. metalicwx366
If you want to know if it's going to rain, use this. So far accurate as hell for me. Yesterday morning it said rain for several hours and we got lots of rain. Today it said no rain expected even though we had a 90% chance of thunderstorms today and we got nothing. It probably takes into account healing skies. http://www.americanwx.com/bb/index.php/topic/44231-hey-guys-ive-made-a-rain-prediction-website-i-was-hoping-you-could-take-a-look-at-it/#entry3026415

Solak
.42" yesterday. Hope things dry out enough to finish mowing today. I'd hate to have to raise the mower deck up a notch just to knock the grass down to a level it can mowed at it's normal height These once a week monsoons have kept me and the mower busy lately.
