metalicwx366
No rain here till late afternoon, sorry you seem to be really dry, my lousy July totals look like a monsoon to you.Lol yeah. I don't know what's up with our area. Then what makes it worse is the county right next to me has had 5 inches of rain now. Those storms have been going all day. Then they hit the Waycross barrier which puts a lid on any storm development.
metalicwx366
  From NWS discussion. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL ACCOMPANIED A FEW OF THE STORMS. IN FACT...AFTER AMG JUST SET AN ALL TIME RECORD LOW RAINFALL TOTAL FOR THE ENTIRE MONTH OF JULY AT ONLY .41 INCHES...AMG ON THIS FIRST DAY OF AUGUST PICKED UP OVER 5 TIMES THAT AMOUNT WITH A DAILY TOTAL AT 2.21 INCHES...JUST A LITTLE SHORT OF THE DAILY RECORD OF 2.45 INCHES. If it doesn't rain here tomorrow, I'm going to call the NWS and ask them to stop putting rain in the forecast for here.
