NYC Weather Lover
I guess the moisture in south jersey won't make it's way up to LI. It is moving in a northeast direction, but the ocean may kill most of it...

Snow_Miser
Euro and other models have nothing for our area until after 8pm with most of it overnight into early morning. Yeah, the heaviest falls between 11 PM and 2 AM per the NAM for NJ, and between 2 AM and 5 AM for NYC. It would be nice if people checked what the model output showed before calling bust. NYC Weather Lover
18z NAM doesn't have anything for LI or NYC until after midnight.well honestly now that I said that, it's raining lightly, but steadily now on the LIE (I'm not driving, don't worry). So...in that case...NAM fail!

NYC Weather Lover
Have a feeling eastern areas do a lot better than western areas this go around. Watch out ENJ, NYC and LI tonight and tomorrow morning. Honestly, I think the opposite. Most model data seems to support the same old pattern. Storms die as they head over the ocean, leaving LI with less rain than western sections. I think parts of NJ could see up to 3 inches, while most of LI fails to make the 1 inch mark. But I could be wrong...
