TalcottWx
0z Euro looks like temps between 78-83F next week once we get past the weekend warmth. Going to be sticky going onward, dewpoints look to lower with frontal passage thursday though. QPF for Monday and Tuesday are not impressive for SNE. Measurable rain, but not anything tremendous. Best qpf over nne. Some onshore winds modeled for eastern sne at points of this week. Frontal passage comes through on Thursday this run from the NW with threats of rain. Going to be some beautiful days mixed into upcoming pattern, I think we see more murk and clouds mixed in generally however.

weathafella
Well concrete jungles don't need water The farms growing the produce you were eating that year did. That's kind of the point. There's more to water than lawns.

CoastalWx
Nothing wrong with late summer warmth. When it was 87 on Columbus Day weekend in 2011, that wasn't right.

CoastalWx
i wish every september could be like 05 and every october like 07 That was a fun fall. September was swamp azz and we had mega rain in October. Followed by the May and June 2006 floods. That has to be the wettest stretch I can remember. Winter wasn't special where I was, but the best damaging srly wind event I've ever seen occurred that January.

CoastalWx
Little did we know, an ominous foreshadowing of that dead ratter of a winter. It wasn't until November where it really began to look like crap. We've had warm Octobers before only to drop the hammer in November. Hopefully it doesn't happen this year. powderfreak
I'm kind of bummed that we're losing the winter month of September.... Yes, it will have to snow real hard the rest of the winter if we want to make up for punting September. Without September, it will be hard to reach even average snowfall this season. Time to start tuning down those predictions of a big winter.
