Damage In Tolland
Seems like our next shot at rain may not be until Labor Day weekend with any leftovers from the tropical system that moves into Florida or the carolinas
Damage In Tolland
I hope you drank plenty of fluids on your run. Sounds dangerous. When it's been dry as of late dews in the low 60's feels wet..Of course they ll mix out but as winds have come around to s..we're seeing more moisture in the atmosphere
Brian5671
Maybe, but even GFS MOS is 77 for BDL. You'll be nice and cool in the high terrain of NE CT. I suppose some valley spots could be near 80, but when we have cooler air moving in on NE winds...I find temps sometimes run cooler than progged. Upton only has 73 here from Fri-Sun. So much for all the 80's.
Ginx snewx
All ensm have a very brief warm up 27 to 29th, looks wet in that period too,but the first week of Sept is same ole same ole
dryslot
Yup, agreed. For someone who now does it for a living, God I cannot wait for winter. (Of course then I'll hate it after I'm super busy, haha) Good to see you stop in Ed, Look forward to your thoughts this winter

Ginx snewx
BDL is currently averaging 70.0 degrees that would tie 2008,94,78 as 10th coldest August on record,ORH is 67.1, 12th coldest ahead of 1976, Boston is 71 20th tied with 1943, PVD at 70.7 is 20th tied with 1966 . Top ten cold August is well within reach at the big four depending how the second half plays out

CoastalWx
Some models have some low level RH working in this weekend too. Might have to watch for some low clouds working in on NE winds, esp SNE.
butterfish55
Didn't know whether to post this in banter, tropical or this thread...But since there's not much weather to discuss, I'll put it here. CT Rain
Yikes the GFS is bad news for the weekend. Not sure how to play it yet but I don't like all that moisture trapped under the inversion.
