West Thompson lake 88, Hampton 87, Norwich Utilities 89, Storrs 85, Staffordville 88

Sounds about right, and knock a couple or few degrees off those for coastal locations. For example, I've recorded a max of 84 so far this year in Old Lyme, and have never recorded 90 after Aug 13, so unlikely to have any 90+ days this year which is not unusual.

Would be a toaster bath in the Greens if this were winter.

0.20" storm total at MVL and the Spine has been in a dry slot.

Thank god it ain't snow...I have no idea how the highest terrain in the state is in a linear dry slot...one of the more bizarre radar loops.  Killington-Sugarbush-Stowe-Jay Peak staying dry, lol.

It'll be interesting to see if that large area of sinking air aloft over the Green Mountain Spine fills in this evening... I'm really surprised that with a 30-50kt H85 jet out of the SE into the terrain isn't producing stuff.  Must be some crazy downward vertical velocities between those two areas of rain, must be up in the H7-H5 layer or something.

HRRR at 18z still thinking 2-3" of rainfall at MVL where there's been 0.20"...lol, we'll see.
